NTR is all set to make his Hindi film debut with War 2, releasing on August 14. Hrithik Roshan plays the lead, while NTR takes on the role of the antagonist. Naga Vamsi, the head of Sithara Entertainments, has bought the Telugu distribution rights for the film. Aware that excitement is low despite NTR’s stardom in the Telugu states, Vamsi is strategizing to generate buzz. The trailer of War 2 will be released on July 25 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
To promote the Telugu version, Vamsi is reportedly planning a massive event in the Telugu states, according to sources. He aims to bring both NTR and Hrithik Roshan on the same stage for the event, depending on government permissions. The event may take place in either Vijayawada or Hyderabad.
Interestingly, Rajinikanth’s Coolie is also releasing on August 14—the same day as War 2. This poses a significant challenge for Naga Vamsi in securing good theaters and creating buzz around the film. While NTR is known for his mass appeal, the success of the Telugu version may depend on how effectively he promotes the film locally. War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films as part of their spy universe.
