NTR District Collector Dr G Lakshmisha has underscored the importance of employee coordination in delivering effective public services and elevating the district to the top rank in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking during a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted and Gazetted Officers (APNGGO) Association leaders on Tuesday at the collectorate in Vijayawada, he highlighted the critical role of employees in achieving development and welfare goals.
The APNGGO Association’s NTR district president, A Vidyasagar, along with other members, felicitated the collector during their visit. In his address, Dr Lakshmisha emphasised the state government’s focus on development and welfare schemes and sought the association’s cooperation in achieving district-wide targets. He urged employees to bring any challenges they face to his attention for prompt resolution, ensuring a smooth workflow.
APNGGO district president Vidyasagar assured the collector of the association’s commitment to serving the public with transparency and fulfilling their responsibilities diligently. Prominent APNGGO leaders, including D Satyanarayana Reddy, P Ramesh, B Satish Kumar, BV Ramana, and Vijayawada City president CVR Prasad, were present at the meeting.
Later in the day, Dr Lakshmisha convened a meeting with collectorate superintendents, urging them to clear all pending files swiftly, especially those related to development and welfare. He stressed the need for transparency, commitment, and responsibility in their work.
Highlighting the district’s significance, the collector noted that NTR district hosts numerous state-level programmes and urged employees to actively participate in these initiatives alongside their routine duties. He assured officials of his support in addressing any difficulties they encounter. District Revenue Officer (DRO) M Lakshmi Narasimha and Administrative Officer S Srinivas Reddy were among those who attended the meeting.
