NTR CP oversees security for ‘Bhavani Deeksha Viramana’

City Police Commissioner SV Rajasekhar Babu personally supervised security arrangements for the relinquishment ceremony of Bhavani devotees on December 23. The Commissioner visited the Command Control Room at the Model Guest House near Durga Ghat, monitoring the crowd at key locations through CCTV cameras. He issued directives to officers and staff across various sectors to ensure robust security.
The Commissioner reviewed live drone footage of vital locations, including the Vinayaka Temple, Seethamma Padalu, Bus Station, and Railway Station. Traffic management was closely monitored via the Astra App, with instructions provided to traffic officers to ensure smooth vehicular flow and vigilance.
As part of the inspection, Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu, accompanied by senior officers, visited several locations such as Durga Ghat, Kummaripalem, Sitara Talkies Centre, Milk Project Centre, Chittinagar, Srinivas Mahal Centre, Brahma Veedhi, and Ratham Centre. He supervised the arrangements and emphasised providing a hassle-free experience for devotees while preventing any untoward incidents.
The Commissioner also inspected holding areas near Seethamma Padalu, reviewing the facilities arranged for devotees. He suggested extending the holding area to accommodate the large influx of participants and directed the setup of barricades to ensure smooth movement.
The inspection was conducted with the participation of DCP Gautami Shali, ADC P J Ramakrishna, ACPs, Inspectors, and other police personnel.
