Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lauded the NTR Trust as a beacon of hope, born from sorrow and distress, yet committed to uplifting society through education, healthcare, clean drinking water, and skill development. Speaking at an event, he emphasised how the trust continues to serve the people with unwavering dedication.
Reflecting on the legacy of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), the Chief Minister highlighted how his vision for a better society laid the foundation for the trust. “NTR was not just a great administrator but also a leader who stood by the people in their times of need. His legacy is being carried forward with the same determination by Nandamuri Bhuvaneshwari,” he said, commending her resilience in managing the trust.
Over the years, the NTR Trust has played a crucial role in disaster relief and community welfare. From providing aid during the Diviseema cyclone to supporting drought-hit regions in Kurnool, the trust has always been at the forefront of relief efforts. “This commitment to service will continue for generations,” the CM affirmed.
The trust’s impact is widely recognised, with generous contributions acknowledging its work. Recently, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 50 lakh to the trust, appreciating its role in public welfare. The establishment of Balakrishna Cancer Hospital and Bhuvaneshwari’s leadership in the trust stand as testaments to its noble mission.
