Nunna school girl wins 1st prize in poster presentation

G. Sandhya, a student of Zilla Parishad High School, Nunna, near Vijayawada, secured first place in the NTR District-Level Poster Presentation held on the First National Space Day, celebrated on 23rd August each year. This day commemorates the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and highlights India’s achievements in space exploration, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year.
The district-level poster presentation took place at Bishop Azaraiah Girls’ High School, Vijayawada, organised by the NTR District Education Department and Samagra Shiksha. Around 100 students from various government and private schools participated enthusiastically.
NTR District School Education Officer (DSEO) U.V. Subba Rao presented the prizes, congratulating the winners and praising the students and their teachers for their participation. He highlighted the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) achievements in space exploration, noting that ISRO scientists have set a global standard in satellite missions.
