Actress Nupur Sanon, who is making her debut down the south with the much-awaited film Tiger Nageswara Rao, speaks to the Hyderabadi media sharing her excitement, and insights from the film.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s much-awaited pan-Indian project, Tiger Nageswara Rao, directed by Vamsi is nearing its release, on October 20. The film by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, presented by Tej Narayan Aggarwal and produced by Mayank Singhania, stars Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj in the lead roles. With a gripping teaser, massive trailer, and chartbuster songs, Tiger already created huge buzz nationwide. Nupur Sanon, who played the heroine in the film, shared the features of ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ in a press conference in the background of the film’s grand release worldwide on October 20.
Explaining more about the film, Nupur Sanon interacted with the media. In the film, she plays a Marwari girl named Sara, someone who would do anything for someone if she loved them. As her role is commercial, there was a lot of scope for the performance. She shares “It is a pleasure to get such a challenging role for the first film”.
She was so convinced to play in the movie as of course Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, and an Abhishek Aggarwal production that has already given Pan India hits like Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2.
Nuper discloses, “I thought it would be a good launching project for me, and also director Vamsi. About 200 people auditioned for this role. His belief that I would be apt for this role gave me a lot of confidence. Director Vamsi researched this story for almost three years. He has a lot of clarity about what his role should be.They have written clearly how the heroine’s hair band should be. I acted as he said.”
Well, working with Mass Maharaja, has she seen his films? She enthuses, “I have seen almost all the movies. Ravi Teja is the original Vikram Rathore. Ravi Teja’s acting is amazing. His comic timing is amazing. Mass Maharaja title appt to Ravi Teja. It is a pleasure to work with him. His Hindi is amazing.They supported a lot in the shooting. Because of him, the barrier of language was removed.”
Being the sister of a National actress, what was the advice she got from her? Let’s hear from Nupur: “Her journey also started from Telugu. Both our tastes are different. The only advice she gave me was, “Be yourself”. I will follow the same.”
Having always heard about how organised the South film industry is, Nupur shares she got to see it all live while working on this film. “I was treated with great respect and courtesy.”
Nupur who really adores Sai Pallavi, Anushka Setty, Keerthy Suresh, Nani, Ram Pothineni, and Vishwak Sen down South, shares, “I would love doing all kinds of roles but also want to make a strong female-oriented film. Currently, I am doing a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”
