Officials inspect arrangements for Drone Summit

The State government is set to organise the prestigious Amaravati Drone Summit at the Punnami Ghat on the banks of River Krishna in Vijayawada. The event will be taking place on October 22 and 23. The government aims to develop the State as a Drone Capital.
Investment & Infrastructure Facilities Principal Secretary S Suresh Kumar and NTR District Collector Dr G Srijana inspected the arrangements at the Punnami Ghat and Babburi Grounds on Tuesday. They gave appropriate instructions to the officials concerned about the arrangements. The two-day Drone Summit will be conducted at the CK Convention at Mangalagiri. Delegates from different parts of the country will attend the Drone Show to be held at Punnami Ghat on October 22.
Suresh Kumar said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and several Central and State representatives will attend the event. There should not be any lapse in the arrangements. Drone Show, Laser Light and Sound Show and other cultural activities will be taking place. Officials should set up special galleries for the VVIPs and VIPs.
NTR District Joint Collector Dr Nidhi Meena, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Commissioner HM Dhyana chandra, Deputy Police Commissioner Gowthami Shali and others participated in the inspection.
