With the Telangana Assembly elections likely to be held towards the end of 2023, the Election Commission of India has announced a second special summary revision of photo electoral rolls with October 1, 2023, as the qualifying date and its schedule in Telangana. The final electoral rolls will be published on October 4, 2023.
House-to-house verification through BLOs will be done from May 25 to June 23.

House-to-house visits will be undertaken by BLOs with pre-filled BLO registers containing details of existing voters in their respective areas to get details verified from the heads of families,” CEO Vikas Raj said.
