YSRCP rebel MLA Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has alleged that autocracy is prevailing in the YSRCP and those who praise the leadership are given importance.

Talking to a news channel here on Sunday, Ramanarayana Reddy said that he has been in politics for the last four decades but he has never seen democratic values declining like today. “It is unfortunate that the ruling party leaders are facing a crisis. I have worked with many senior leaders but never witnessed such a situation which he is facing now,” he regretted. Launching a scathing attack against Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy without naming him, he said that he had received phone calls from the CMO.

“I have been questioning the ruling party leaders since I was elected as MLA. But the government instead of taking corrective measures wanted to muzzle my voice. I have also pointed out that the development has come to a halt and anarchy has gone up,” he said, adding that that is why he was sidelined and finally suspended from the party.

An extra-constitutional force was appointed as constituency in-charge in his constituency. The CMO, Collector, and SP directed the officials not to cooperate with him. Finally, his security was also curtailed, Ramanarayana Reddy deplored.

“I felt regret for being with those who do not know the democratic values for four years. They have indicated that they will do whatever they want to do,” he slammed.

The government may not survive in the future if it continues to take the advice of such people.

Ramnarayana Reddy dismissed the allegations that rebel MLAs sold themselves for money. “We have seen how the government advisors have amassed thousands of crores of rupees money,” he said. He should not think that all earn money like him,” he said, ambiguously, pointing his finger toward Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
