Star Tennis Academy organised the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States Open Tennis Tournament at the academy courts at Nidamanuru near Vijayawada on Monday.
As many as 70 budding players from under-12, 14 and 16 categories participated in the tournament. Guests presented cash prizes to the winners. Star Tennis Academy Director KD Gopal and Jain Sai Graphics head K Venkateswara Rao said the players’ achievements would be helpful for their higher studies and jobs.
Global Sports Foundation secretary GVS Prasad, Academy Chief Coach K Girish and others were present.
