Must read

Former minister and Gudivada MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) stated that  opposition parties including Congress led by Sharmila, BJP led by Purandeswari, TDP led by Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan, cannot prevent CM Jagan Mohan Reddy from securing another term in the 2024 elections.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, Nani criticised Chandrababu, Pawan, Sharmila, and Purandeshwari, highlighting past statements made by these leaders.
Nani questioned Chandrababu’s previous remarks about Modi and Pawan Kalyan’s criticism of the Union government’s actions towards Andhra Pradesh. He also accused Chandrababu of deceiving farmers and women with false promises regarding loan waivers. Nani expressed disbelief at the opposition parties’ alliance, emphasising their collective aim to oust CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Regarding Pawan Kalyan’s alliance with BJP and TDP, Nani criticized the decision, predicting it would not sway Jana Sena voters towards Chandrababu’s camp. He asserted that the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena alliance would not succeed.
Nani predicted a minimal seat count for Chandrababu in the upcoming elections and questioned Sharmila’s campaign efforts, suggesting her alignment with Chandrababu’s TDP through the NDA alliance. He also challenged the relevance of bringing up issues like the Manipur massacre in the context of the Andhra Pradesh elections.
Nani criticised Chandrababu’s reconciliation with Modi, contrasting it with the principles on which TDP was founded. He dismissed the credibility of Congress in Andhra Pradesh, particularly Sharmila’s ambitions, and questioned their electoral promises.
