Minister for Finance T Harish Rao launched a scathing attack on the Opposition for coming in the way of the development of the State. He stressed the need to counter the propaganda unleashed by the Congress and the BJP. These parties failed to make any contribution to the progress of the State.

The Congress on the one hand has been advocating that a three-hour power supply is adequate for the farm sector and on the other the BJP-led has been exerting pressure on the State government to fix meters to agricultural pump sets. These parties were conspiring to deprive the farmers of round-the-clock free power, he said. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, however, is determined to ensure that round-the-clock free power is provided to farmers. He appealed to people to inflict a decisive defeat on the parties which were acting against the interests of the State.

Harish Rao highlighted the progress made on fronts in the State under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The Minister was taking part in several functions in Ibrahimpatnam constituency. He laid the foundation stones for developmental activities to be executed at a cost of Rs 68.21 crore in the constituency. Minister for Education Sabita Indra Reddy and local MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy took part in the programmes.

Harisha Rao, along with Sabita Indra Reddy and Kishan Reddy, inaugurated Abdullahpurmet Mandal Tehsildar’s office, followed by the laying of the foundation stone for the Injapur-Thorruru Reddy project, overseen by the Turkyanjal Municipality. He inaugurated the RDO office in Ibrahimpatnam and also the social welfare school, besides dormitory buildings. Moreover, the foundation stone was laid for the pioneering concept construction of a government hospital at Yacharam.

Harish Rao underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare in the State. The goal is to build a healthy Telangana. The Minister announced ambitious plans, including the transformation of the Ibrahimpatnam hospital into a one-hundred-bed facility. The medical works would soon begin and it would be opened soon, he said. He expressed happiness over the success of Gurukula School in the State. A total of 7.50 lakh children are studying in Gurukula Schools in the State, he said.

He also praised Manchireddy Kishan Reddy’s dedication to addressing local problems.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Thigala Anitha Reddy, District Library Corporation Chairman Venkataramana Reddy, DCCB Vice-Chairman Sattaiah, Manchireddy Prashanth Reddy, public representatives, municipal councillors, party leaders, and activists were present.
