Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has never said ‘No’ to employees’ problems and has been giving top priority to addressing the issues of the employees. The minister on Thursday inaugurated the newly allocated chambers to Government Advisor (Employee Welfare) N Chandrasekhar Reddy. Later, the minister, along with Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, spoke to the leaders of employee unions.

Minister Satyanarayana said that earlier governments did not appoint a special advisor for the welfare of employees. Only the YSRC government has appointed a special advisor as a bridge between the government and the employees. He said that through the advisors, the government provided the opportunity to the employees to bring the problems to the notice of the government and solve them as soon as possible. Similarly, regarding the demands of the employees, he said that the government resolved all the demands of the employees in accordance with the resources and financial conditions of the state.

He said that the 11th PRC was implemented for the State government employees on par with those of the Telangana State. He said that 15 to 18 percent of additional employees were hired and the retirement age of employees was increased to 62 years. He said that apart from the welfare of the employees, the government paid special attention to uplifting the poor section of society. He said that the government is implementing many schemes in a systematic manner to benefit all the people through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme without any scope for corruption, said the minister.

Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the employees are playing a vital role in the success of many innovative schemes implemented by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government to bring happiness to the lives of the poor and needy. He said that the Chief Minister feels that the employees are an integral part of the state government, and the Chief Minister has been solving the problems of the employees as much as possible to benefit them.

He said that the government is taking steps to solve all non-financial problems as soon as possible, but steps are being taken to solve the financial demands as per the financial conditions of the State. He said that the government is ready to resolve the demands of the employees as far as possible, and if it cannot be resolved, the reasons are being clearly explained to the employees. He called upon all government employees to fully cooperate with the efforts of their government for the uplift and welfare of the poor in society.

Government Advisor (Employee Welfare) N Chandrasekhar Reddy, president of AP NGO Association Bandi Srinivasa Rao, president of State Revenue Department Association Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, president of AP Secretariat Association Venkatarami Reddy and representatives of educational and employment associations participated in the programme.
