An unprecedented number of devotees thronged Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple on Tuesday.
According to a conservative estimate, over 20,000 devotees visited the temple and performed puja to the deity.
It has become customary to the devotees on pilgrimage to Sammakka-Sarakka fair to visit Kondagattu temple.
Traffic stranded on the road towards Bojja Potanna and on ghat road of the temple. The devotees put the blame on temple authorities for making suitable arrangements for devotees. The devotees stood under hot sun for the darshan of the deity. Women faced problems as the temple steps are made of iron.
