A girl was severely wounded in an attack by stray dogs in Guntupalli village of Ibrahimpatnam mandal in the NTR district on Tuesday morning.
According to reports a pack of street dogs suddenly attacked a girl severely wounding her. Immediately, the locals came to her rescue and took the girl to the nearest hospital for treatment. Similarly, a sanitation worker was also attacked by street dogs in the area, grievously wounding the worker.
The villagers allege that the dogs attacking the villagers has become common, and the number of attacks has increased during the past few weeks. They say that the stray dogs have been attacking the passer-by on the roads and people on the two-wheelers time and again. The villagers demand that the authorities concerned should take action in this regard and rescue the people from the dogs’ attack. They demand that the Ibrahimpatnam nagar panchayat authorities take action against the dog menace.
