At last, the State government officially directed all officers and staff to pack their files, computers and printers from the temporary secretariat at the BRKR Bhavan on Wednesday (April 26) and shift them to the new secretariat on Thursday (April 27).
The government has so far been giving dates verbally and changing them later. But on Tuesday it directed officials officially to pack and shift their files and computers.
All officers and staff have been directed to come to their offices by 10 am on Wednesday, that is, on April 26, and start packing files, computers and printers for shifting from the BRKR Bhavan to the new Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on Thursday (April 27).
The Telangana secretariat said that the government had provided accommodation for officers and staff of the Revenue Department on the ground floor of the new secretariat and directed them to complete shifting by Thursday (April 27).
Furniture will not be allowed to be shifted to the new secretariat. The time allotted for shifting is from 2 pm to 7 pm on Thursday (April 27). The officers and staff have been directed to ensure that all files and Photostat machines are shifted to their allotted space in the new secretariat.
