Palle Ravi Kumar appointed as chairman of Kallu Geetha Karmika Sangham

Palle Ravikumar, a senior journalist from Telangana, was appointed as the Chairman of Kallu Geetha Karmika Corporation in a ceremony held on Wednesday morning. The ceremony wasattended by several prominent political leaders including State Power Minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar, Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaya Yadav and legislators Gadhari Kishore Kumar and Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy.

During the ceremony, Minister Jagadish Reddy hailed the appointment of Ravikumar as a
significant step in honouring the Telangana movement. He commended Chief Minister KCR for his unwavering support of the movement's cars and for recognising the contribution of Telangana journalists like Ravikumar and Allam Narayana.

In his address, Minister Jagadish Reddy urged intellectuals, poets, artists, and journalists to
come forward and participate in the reconstruction of Telangana. He emphasised the need to break the conspiracies of disparate forces that seek to incite communal hatred and called upon intellectuals to take the lead in this effort.

Ravikumar is a prominent figure in the Telangana movement, and his journalistic work played a crucial role in shaping public opinion and mobilising support for the cause. His appointment is seen as a significant step in honouring the contribution of Telangana journalists to the movement.
The Kallu Geetha Karmak Corporation is a government-owned organisation that is responsible for the production and distribution of palm sap, toddy and other byproducts. As the Chairman of the corporation, Ravikumar will be responsible for overseeing its operations and ensuring that it functions efficiently and effectively.
