Patnam Mahender Reddy assumed office as the Minister of Information, Public Relations and Mines on Wednesday. He took charge at his office on the first floor of the Secretariat.
Patnam Mahender Reddy, who was sworn in as a Minister on August 24, took charge in the office allotted to him as Vedic scholars conducted pujas.
As Minister, Mahender Reddy signed the first file submitted by Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and Special Commissioner Ashok Reddy of the Information and Public Relations Department.
Later, his family memebers Vikarabad ZP chairperson Patnam Sunitha Reddy and Patnam Rineesh Reddy’s son Mahender Reddy congratulated him.Ministers Dayakar Rao, Srinivasa Yadav, Srinivas Goud, Malla Reddy, MPs Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, Legislative Council Members Shambhipur Raju, Legislators Patnam Narender Reddy, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, Prakash Goud Kale Yadayah, Krishna Rao, Balka Suman, Media Academy Chairman Allam Narayana, Information Department Director B. Rajamouli, Additional Director Nagayya Kambli, Joint Directors Jagan, Srinivas, Venkata Ramana, DDs Madhu Sudhan, Raja Reddy, CIE Radha Kishan, Media Academy Secretary Venkateshwar Rao, Mines and Geology Department officials, and BRS leaders from various districts of the state met Mahender Reddy.
