National secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) K Narayana has disapproved of Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Pawan Kalyan’s participation in the meeting of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Referring to the Jana Sena chief as an ‘unstable person’, the CPI leader lamented Pawan Kalyan’s decision to align with a communal party. Furthermore, he alleged that the actor-turned-politician is attempting to forge an alliance between the BJP and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Narayana stated, “Pawan Kalyan is acting as a mediator between the estranged political partners BJP and TDP. He should refrain from trying to reconcile the two parties.”
Questioning the political stance of Jana Sena Party’s chief, the CPI leader asked how he could join forces with the BJP, a party that has failed to grant Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.
The CPI leader further described Pawan Kalyan as an unstable individual who, until recently, portrayed himself as the Che Guevara of Andhra and is now allegedly aligning himself with the Hindutva ideology of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Narayana added that the stability of the Jana Sena leader in politics could be debated once he learns to deliver a public speech without sidestepping.
