Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath has alleged that Pawan Kalyan’s comments against the volunteer system on Sunday was outrageous. “Pawan Kalyan seems to be thinking that no one will vote for him, and will not even become an MLA, and that he will not be useful for politics. That is why he spoke like a maniac,” said the minister.
He found fault with Pawan Kalyans comments that volunteers are spreading people’s information to anti-social elements. In fact, people get scared just by looking at you, especially young women. Volunteers have won people’s hearts with their services. Sixteen crore masks were distributed during Covid pandemic. On the 1st of every month, they deliver welfare schemes to the beneficiaries at the doorstep and about 60 percent of the volunteers are women, said the Minister. He dared Pawan Kalyan to announce that the volunteer system will be abolished if they come to power.
Minister Amarnath said that the whole speech was a bunch of lies against the YSRCP. He recalled that showing footwear has become a habit to Pawan Kalyan and people will show the same to him for his comments. He said that on Sunday PK tried to show some data. I don’t know whether they are in the CAG or the part of the script given by Chandrababu Naidu. PK should know that people are watching everything when referring to a report, said Amarnath.
The Minister criticised PK for being ignorant about the NCRB report and said NCP report taking the people for a ride. He further said that except Chandrababu Naidu, PK will not give respect to anyone including CM Jagan and If PK does not mend his ways and learn how to speak, even in 2024 he cannot win the elections. Amarnath said that there is no comparison between CM Jagan and PK. In 2011 Jagan Mohan Reddy floated a political party and became the Chief Minister in 2019. But PK was into politics right from 15 years and could not win as a Legislator (MLA) despite contesting from two places. He further said that people from the movie field – heroes, villains, comedians and side actors have contested elections and won the elections and many became Ministers but PK could not become an MLA despite being the president of a political party.
