Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan held talks with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday. The meeting took place at Naidu’s riverfront residence in Undavalli near Vijayawada.
Accompanied by JSP Political Affairs Committee Chairman Nadendla Manohar, Pawan Kalyan
visited Naidu’s residence, where both leaders were warmly welcomed by Naidu and his son Lokesh.
Discussions were held on key issues, including seat-sharing and the development of a joint manifesto. It is noteworthy that the TDP and JSP have allied to counter the ruling YSRCP led by Jagan Mohan Reddy in the upcoming elections, sources suggest.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Telugu Desam Party announced that the former Chief Minister and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, along with Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan, would collectively participate in the Bhogi celebrations on Sunday.
The leaders are slated to join the bonfire event at 7 am on Sunday, partaking in the ‘Telugu Jaatiki Swarna Yugam-Sankranti Sankalpam’ festivities on the Golden Rule School campus in Mandadam, Amaravati.
As part of the Bhogi celebrations, copies of orders about anti-people policies and documents highlighting the challenges faced by the public will be consigned to the bonfire, according to a press note issued on Saturday.
