Pawan, Naidu talk to finalise seats

Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan met with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The discussion primarily centred around finalising the selection of candidates for the upcoming elections. While the TDP has already announced 128 candidates for the Assembly, there are still 16 more candidates to be named. Additionally, the TDP needs to finalize 17 candidates for the Lok Sabha.
Sources indicate that Naidu and Pawan Kalyan deliberated on the selection of candidates for the Member of Parliament (MP) positions and devised strategies for the forthcoming elections.
Naidu is scheduled to commence his election campaign on March 28, while Pawan Kalyan is gearing up to launch his campaign on March 27, as per JSP sources. Following their discussions, both leaders refrained from making statements to the media.
