Pawan recalls Sriramulu’s services

Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief K Pawan Kalyan has said that keeping Andhra Pradesh on top in development is a real tribute to freedom fighter Potti Sriramulu, whose supreme sacrifice ensured a separate state to the Telugu-speaking people.

Paying tributes to Potti Sriramulu on his 70th death anniversary on Thursday, Pawan Kalyan said that Potti Sriramulu wanted a separate state for all Telugu-speaking people, and for that cause he sacrificed his life. “On behalf of the Jana Sena activists and on my personal behalf, I pay tribute to Potti Sriramulu,” Pawan Kalyan said in a statement.

Pawan Kalyan recalled that Potti Sriramulu had lost his wife and son at the age of 25 years but he sacrificed his life for the country. Pawan Kalyan mentioned Mahatma Gandhi comments, “If I had 10 more people like Sriramulu, I would have brought independence even earlier.”
