In a surprise and resolute declaration, Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has affirmed that all ongoing welfare schemes initiated by the YSRCP government would seamlessly persist even if the reins of power shifted to Jana Sena Party (JSP).

Addressing the women party activists at the state party office in Mangalagiri on Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan said, “JSP is poised to introduce enhanced welfare programmes that will surpass the current initiatives. There is no need to harbour concern about the potential discontinuation of welfare schemes in case of a JSP victory. Not only will existing schemes remain unaltered, but we will also introduce novel programmes bearing the names of esteemed national leaders.”

Kalyan lamented the absence of welfare schemes honouring valiant freedom fighters, remarking, “It is disheartening that none of the welfare initiatives are commemoratively dedicated to individuals like ‘Potti Sriramulu.’ Instead, they all bear the mark of ‘YSR’.”

The JSP leader did not mince words while casting aspersions on Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging a disregard for constitutional principles.”Fundamental rights are being trampled upon within the State, and the Chief Minister seems to turn a blind eye to constitutional provisions pertaining to state responsibilities,” Kalyan stated emphatically.

Referring to a deeply contentious point, Kalyan pointed out, “A figure who faced legal action on multiple counts of financial misconduct for 16 months had audaciously laid blame on the judiciary for safeguarding the constitution.”

In a bid to rally support against the incumbent, Kalyan urged his followers to unite and vehemently oppose the continuation of Jagan Reddy’s rule. “We need not fear Jagan Reddy’s regime. A concerted effort is required to repel his sway, and the power of the vote can serve as a potent weapon,” Kalyan urged, underscoring the importance of using the electoral process to effect change.

Addressing rising crime rates, Pawan Kalyan raised concerns over security, particularly in the vicinity of the Chief Minister’s residence. “Egregious crimes are occurring even in close proximity to the Chief Minister’s abode, such as the tragic murder of a visually impaired girl,” he disclosed, casting a spotlight on the prevailing law and order situation.

In a sardonic remark aimed at the ruling party, Pawan Kalyan quipped, “If taxes were levied on rowdy elements, the YSRCP would undoubtedly lead the tax charts.” He insinuated that a significant number of anti-social elements might find affinity within the ruling party’s ranks.

Expressing dismay over the alarming number of missing women in the state, Kalyan criticised the government’s apparent lack of action. “Over 30,000 women have vanished without due attention from the authorities. This dire situation has yet to prompt a comprehensive review,” he bemoaned. Kalyan pledged to accord women the rightful significance they deserve in politics and called upon them to play a pivotal role.

Earlier in the day, Pawan Kalyan, flanked by Nadendla Manohar, hoisted the national flag, invoking a sense of unity and patriotism among party supporters. As the political landscape continues to evolve, Kalyan’s steadfast commitment to welfare and governance remains a key focal point in his quest for electoral victory.
