Former agriculture minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that after nine years, people in Telangana have been staging protest over ‘power cuts’. He held a pressmeet in Telangana Bhavan on Sunday where he alleged that there are not enough allocations made in the budget for the promises given by the Congress.
Niranjan Reddy said that after the Congress took power, they have not done anything new in 72 days except the free bus scheme for women. Input subsidy under Rythu Bandhu scheme was not given to farmers who have more than three acres.
There is a possibility to use the reservoirs and tunnels under Kaleshwaram.
He said, “There is no clarity regarding the supply of KCR kits and nutrition kits. The government should answer to the people on the implementation of the guarantees. If possible establish a Medical college at Kodangal but it is not good to shift Aleru Medical college there.
People protesting ‘power cuts’ says Niranjan Reddy

“KCR has knowledge about every inch of Telangana. That’s why he developed Telangana in the last ten years. We will definitely question the government on Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, water, current, paddy, purchases of crops, bonus of Rs.500 per quintal of paddy”, he mentioned.
