People ready to bid goodbye to Jagan: Lokesh

Must read

Amidst the ongoing ‘Sankharavam’ programme, Nara Lokesh has characterised the current State Government as severely lacking, citing its failure to ensure access to safe drinking water for the populace. “Just a few days ago, we witnessed a tragic incident in Guntur where two individuals lost their lives, and hundreds fell ill after consuming contaminated water. It’s truly distressing,” he remarked.
Expressing disappointment with the ‘Aadudam Andhra’ initiative, Lokesh questioned whether Chief Minister Jagan has fulfilled promises such as constructing a cricket stadium in every Assembly segment or establishing a cricket academy, pledges made before the 2019 elections. He also inquired about the commitment to secure Special Category Status for the State with the mandate of 25 MPs, highlighting the fact that despite YSRCP’s possession of 31 MPs, Jagan’s administration has fallen short on this front.
Encouraging BCs (Backward Classes) across the State to unite against CM Jagan, the TDP leader criticised the Chief Minister for scrapping 100 welfare schemes, including unemployment benefits, fee reimbursements, and Anna Canteens, which were operational during the TDP’s tenure. “Rest assured, the TDP-Jana Sena alliance will step in to support you. This is precisely why TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan have introduced the Super-Six initiative,” Lokesh declared.
Lokesh also raised questions about CM Jagan’s failure to fulfil commitments made to the people of North Andhra, such as the completion of the Bhogapuram airport, the Ramatheertham project, and the reopening of sugar factories.
Warning TDP and Jana Sena leaders and activists to remain vigilant against attempts by the YSRCP to sow discord among them, Lokesh asserted that both parties are united in their objective to remove Jagan from power.
