People worried about BJP’s growth fabricating lies: Eatala

Responding to a question on whether he would cooperate with the Kaleshwaram Commission’s probe, the BJP’s Malkajgiri MP, Eatala Rajender, said that
persons who have no understanding of the Kaleshwaram Commission are speaking as they liked.
“Mediocre individuals who don’t know anything about protocol are speaking as they liked about Kaleshwaram notices. It is those who don’t know about how the government functions who speak like this. The Finance Department releases all bills sent by all government departments,” he said.
He said that persons who are worried by the BJP’s growth are fabricating lies that he does not care about their opinions. Responding to another question, Eatala said that he would not comment on the Telangana BJP President matter.
Speaking to the media on Sunday at the State BJP office, Eatala said that bills of retired officials are not being released if they do not give a 7 to 10 per cent cut of the money due to them. He said that some people have opened ‘bribe shops.’
“Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s rule is extremely inefficient, corrupt and uncoordinated. They are looting as they do not know whether they will come to power again or not,” he said.
Eatala said the Congress Government has been demolishing the houses of the poor in the name of HYDRAA. The government demolished the houses of the poor on the Musi’s banks and now the HYDRAA is demolishing houses in slums.
Eatala said that Balaji Nagar and Jawahar Nagar are old, big slums. “People from across the nation have been living in these areas from 1985. Most of them are from Telangana, UP, West Bengal, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh. These people have purchased houses here. The land belongs to the defence department. The poor purchased the land from the Army people. The excesses of Revenue officials and real estate brokers have increased. The Revanth Reddy government is trying to demolish houses built after 1994,” he said.
The then AP government gave house sites to 1,705 people who had undergone family planning surgery in Arundathi Nagar in 1998. However, the Congress Government is now saying that it will demolish them, Eatala said.
“Does Chief Minister Revanth Reddy have any control over governance or not? Officials have become brokers and are harassing the public. officials are demanding bribes of Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh. The court pulled up the government when ex-army men approached it. But the government did not change its policy,” he said.
He warned that the BJP will not remain silent if the government tries to demolish the houses of the poor.
