The Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) arrested A. Shravan Kumar Rao, an accused individual already under investigation in the phone tapping case. He was arrested for allegedly defrauding Akhand Infratech India Pvt Ltd of Rs 6.58 crore.
The FIR, registered as Cr. No. 54/2025 at the CCS-DD Police Station, was based on a written complaint by businessman A. Akash Krishna, the Director of Akhand Infratech, who said that Shravan Rao, and some others, executed a well-planned scam using fabricated communications, fraudulent business representations and misused corporate credentials to siphon funds through sham transactions.
The FIR says that Shravan approached the complainant in 2022, claiming that he could facilitate procurement deals between Akhand Infratech and Accore Industries Pvt Ltd, located at Sandur in Karnataka.
