Sanjay says phones of Revanth & Harish were also tapped

Declaring that attempts are on to water down the phone tapping case, the BJP candidate in the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, said that a Congress Minister from Karimnagar district is shielding former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s family in the case.
He said that a huge amount of money belonging to former Intelligence chief Prabhakar Rao has been given to Congress leaders in Delhi through the Minister from Karimnagar.
Sanjay said the Congress government is not taking any action even though the suspect Radhakishan Rao had clearly said that the police had tapped the phones of many people as per the directions of BRS Chief Minister KCR.

Addressing the media at the State BJP office here on Thursday, Sanjay said that not only he but the current Chief Minister and former BRS Minister T. Harish Rao were also victims of phone tapping. He said the police tapped not only his phone but also the phones of his family.
“Why is the Congress government not taking any action against those responsible for phone tapping? The Congress government is also following the BRS government’s footsteps in criminal cases. The BRS government watered down the Nayeem case, the drug seizure case, the Miyapur lands case, the suicides by Intermediate students and the TSPSC question paper leak case even though it appointed a SIT. The Revanth government is also watering down the phone tapping case, Sanjay said.
He said that one Ashok Rao, who is looking after the financial affairs of Karimnagar Congress candidate Velichala Rajender Rao, is a close relative of former Intelligence chief Prabhakar Rao. Prabhakar Rao tapped the phones of opposition leaders while staying in Ashok Rao’s residence in Karimnagar.
Sanjay said that Prabhakar Rao and Radhakishan Rao predicted that the Congress would come to power before the Assembly elections. Both stayed in Room Number 314 at the Prathima Hotel in Karimnagar without entering their names in the hotel register, did not pay bills and engaged in phone tapping.
Sanjay said that Prabhakar Rao is the main reason behind Velichala Rajender Rao getting a Congress ticket. Now Velichala Rajender Rao is contesting in Karimnagar staying in Ashok Rao’s residence.
He said that Prabhakar Rao strategically brought the name of Velichala Rajender Rao on to the screen during the Assembly elections and the Minister from Karimnagar introduced Ashok Rao to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Prabhakar Rao’s money reached Congress candidates and the Congress high command.
Sanjay demanded that the Congress government should reveal how Rajender Rao got a Congress ticket.
“Who received Prabhakar Rao’s money through the Minister from Karimnagar? What is the relationship between the Minister from Karimnagar and KCR?” he said.
“One can easily understand the collusion between the Congress and the BRS if one observes how Prabhakar Rao’s money reached the Delhi Congress high command. The Congress government should order a CBI probe into the phone tapping case or else one will be forced to conclude that the Congress government is connected with the case. The Modi government will come back to power even if the opposition hatches conspiracies. The BJP will win a majority of the seats in Telangana. I will submit the evidence I have if the government hands over the phone tapping case to the CBI,” Sanjay said.
