District Collector K. Vetri Selvi informed Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand that constituency-wise action plans for the implementation of the P4 (People, Public, Private Participation) programme will be prepared within the stipulated time in Eluru district. This is part of the ten principles set by the State Government to achieve social and economic empowerment and sustainable development.
As part of the “Swarnandhra@2047” initiative, Chief Secretary Vijayanand reviewed the formulation of the P4 plans in line with the ten principles during a video conference with district collectors from across the state on Thursday. Collector K. Vetri Selvi participated in the conference from the Eluru Collectorate.
Speaking during the meeting, Chief Secretary Vijayanand emphasized that the State Government is committed to achieving the goals outlined in the 10-point plan aimed at creating a poverty-free society.
“Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the P4 programme on Telugu New Year, Ugadi. The Collectors must prepare action plans for the Assembly constituencies and submit them within the stipulated time,” he instructed.
To facilitate this, nodal officers should be appointed at the constituency level, and teams of six members, including the nodal officer, should be formed to gather public opinions, the CS added.
Following the meeting, Collector Vetri Selvi directed the concerned officials to formulate action plans for the implementation of the P4 programmes in each Assembly constituency. ZP CEO K. Subba Rao, DRDA PD Vijayaraju, and Agriculture Officer Habib Basha were among those who attended the meeting.
