Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao decided to launch a Podu land patta distribution programme for tribals on June 30.
He will formally launch the patta distribution programme from the Asifabad district headquarters on June 30.
Ministers and MLAs will also distribute pattas to beneficiaries in their Assembly constituencies on the same day across the state.
Earlier, the Government had announced a patta distribution programme from June 24. Due to unavoidable reasons, the programme was postponed to June 30.
In the context of the Election Commission’s visit to Telangana, the conduct of training classes for collectors for two days (Friday and Saturday) by the ECI and the Bakrid festival on June 29, the government postponed the patta distribution programme to June 30.
During the visit, KCR will inaugurate the new Kumuram Bheem Asifabad District Integrated Collectorate Complex and District SP Office on June 30.
