Superintendent of Police Manikantha Chandolu inaugurated the Police Command Control Room at V Kota on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP mentioned that CCTV cameras had been installed at various locations and were connected to the Command Control Room, allowing police officials to monitor the situation continuously.
He explained that V Kota, located at the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu border, required enhanced surveillance to maintain law and order and keep a constant watch on anti-social elements. To this end, CCTV cameras were set up, along with the Command Control Room. Later, the SP inspected the office records of police stations. DSP Prabhakar and V Kota CI Somasekhar were also present.
