Sunstroke reportedly claimed the life of a 42-year-old police constable on Sunday night. The constable, who belonged to the 2000Batch, was attached to Ramakrishnapur police station.
The deceased was identified as Muthe Santosh, who hailed from Luxettipet in the district, fainted at his house on Sunday. He was immediately rushed to a hospital at Luxettipet where the doctors declared brought dead.
The constable’s family members said that he had returned home in the evening on Sunday. He collapsed and died in the night. They claimed that he died of sunstroke.
It is yet to be known whether the constable died of sunstroke or not.
