Police sports and games meet inaugurated

Despite work pressure, police personnel have been excelling in sports and it should serve as an inspiration to athletes, said Warangal Police Commissioner Ambar Kishore Jha. He inaugurated the 3rd Sports and Games Meet 2025 at the Warangal Police Commissionerate on Friday.
The event, which began on Friday, will continue for three days at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Hanmakonda.
During the opening ceremony, the Police Commissioner attended as the chief guest and started the sports events. On this occasion, a march-past was performed by the police athletes, and the Police Commissioner hoisted the sports flag at the venue. Additionally, doves and balloons were released into the sky, and the police athletes handed over the sports torch to the Police Commissioner.
The Police Commissioner also inaugurated 800-meter race events for men and women and volleyball competitions.
Later, the Police Commissioner congratulated the athletes who participated enthusiastically in the games, as well as the event organizers. The event was attended by Deputy Commissioners of Police Ravinder, Rajamahendranayak, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police Ravi, Suresh Kumar, and Jangaon ASP Pandari Chetan Nithin, along with other police officers such as ACPs, Inspectors, RIs, RSIs, and SI officers, who actively participated in the event.
