Ponguleti urges supporters to help the flood-hit people  

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has called upon the people to remain alert at this hours of difficulty in Palair constituency where the water bodies are in spate at several villages and tribal hamlets and appealed to his supporters to come to the rescue of the flood-hit people by arranging rehabilitation  centers and providing  food and water to the flood-hit.
In a release on Sunday, the Minister assured the people that the government would give all help to them. The situation was not predicted.  Because of the floods to various water bodies, all communication facilities have been affected. Many people have been marooned. In Nayakan Gudem habitat of Kusumanchi mandal, three people were washed away in swirling flood waters.
However, the relief and rescue team managed to save one person. Efforts were on to save the other two also. The inclement weather  is not cooperating  with the administration for air-lifting of those who have been marroned to safer places.
He claims to have been constantly in touch with the district administration, officials in his constituency and mandal officials. Now what is required on the part of the flood-hit people to pick up courage. He exhorted his fans to implement relief and rescue measures as the  representatives of the ministers. Theyh  should establish rehabilitation  centers along with the local officials and government staff and provide food and water to the needy. He asked them  to rush the people who developed sickness on account  of the rains to hospitals.
