Power outages from 15 mts to two hours

Hyderabad in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that in view of the high demand for electricity in the upcoming summer, it is very important to carry out maintenance and repair work. So there has been some disruption in the electricity for work.
He said, “Keeping in view the electricity needs of the consumers, orders have been issued to the officials to complete the maintenance work within 15 minutes to 2 hours from January 17 to February 10, which excludes Sundays and festival days. If the power goes out for more than two hours, memos will also be issued to the officials. Per every 100 feeders, 15 minutes to 2 hours power would be interrupted”
“There are 2,400 feeders of 11 KV in the twin cities of Hyderabad.. Every year TSSPDCL undertakes repairs in November and December. But due to the elections the works started in January. Every day within the range of 100 feeders, there will be power interruption only within two hours”, he mentioned.
