Prajavani Reasons for unresolved problems should be given in writing, says GHMC chief

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Amrapali Kata ordered officials to solve every grievance application in the Prajavani programme. If not solved by the corporation, the officials should take responsibility and send the reasons in written format for not solving the grievances to the applicants, she added.
On Monday, GHMC received 43 applications at the headquarters. Out of them Town Planning related 23 applications, Revenue department related four applications, Admin related three grievances, Chief Engineer (CE) Maintenance received 3 applications, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) received 2 applications and housing-related grievances were two.
Apart from them, a total of 75 applications were received in six zones under the GHMC. Out of them, 46 appeals were received from Kukatpally, 13 from Khairatabad, six from Secunderabad, five from Serilingampally, three from Charminar zone and two from LB Nagar zone.
Additional Commissioners Nalini Padmavathy, Srivatsava, Satyanarayana, Yadagiri Rao, Geeta Radhika, and other officials participated in the programme.
