He called for permanent solutions to ensure that grievances are not repeated.
Presiding over the grievance redressal session at the Collectorate Conference Hall, the Collector personally heard petitions and assured appropriate action. He urged the officials to engage directly with complainants to understand core issues and offer lasting remedies. “Each complaint should be handled with empathy and diligence to eliminate recurrence,” he said. He also warned of stern action against staff negligence, particularly in pension and land-related cases.
The Collector reviewed progress in employee enrolment under the household survey and the district’s Vision Document, instructing timely completion and proactive follow-ups. He urged the officials to connect with petitioners after resolution of issues and gather feedback through the app-based system. A total of 402 petitions were received—173 pertaining to the Revenue Department, 110 to GVMC, 36 to the Police Department, and 83 from other departments.
