Priyanka to unveil Rajiv Gandhi statue at Uppal Cricket Stadium

Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao said that AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will unveil the statue of former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi at Uppal Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
VH said that the unveiling of the Rajiv Gandhi statue by Priyanka will take place on August 20, that is the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi. He said that he is getting the statue at a cost of Rs 22 lakhs and it will be prepared at Kothapet village near Amalapuram and designer Raju Odiyar is erecting the statue. 
 On Monday, VH visited the place where the statue is to be installed at Cricket Stadium along with Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) secretary Devaraj, treasurer CJ Srinivas, HCA member Bhaskar, statue designer Raju Odiyar, Uppal Congress incharge Parameshwar Reddy, PCC general secretary R Laxman Yadav, PCC secretary S Srikanth Goud, and others.
