Producer’s ‘complaint’ against Naga Shaurya

Naga Shaurya’s last film ‘Rangabali’ was released in July 2023 and after that the actor didn’t come up with any film. Recently on his birthday, a film titled ‘Bad Boy Karthik’ first look was released. It is directed by Raam Desina and produced by Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao. According to a source, Shaurya is not showing interest to complete the film as he is delaying the process and it has already crossed the budget for the producer.
Though the actor accepted multiple projects, he didn’t complete even one film till now. Earlier also, there was a complaint about Shaurya, that he is taking so much time to complete a film and regularly asking changes in the story or script; so sometimes they have to reshoot.
The same thing happened to ‘Bad Boy Karthik’ as the film started long back, but the output is not there as expected. The producer has already spent crores of rupees. According to a source, the producer gave an informal complaint to the Telugu Film Chamber. Hence, the chamber people asked Naga Shaurya to complete the film first and then move to other films for shooting.
Shaurya is a talented actor and proved it in many of his films. But here the point is he delays his projects and also changes the directors, added the source. In his career, he should have had many hits, but his last few films bombed at the box office. His last hit film was ‘Oh Baby’ in which he paired with Samantha. Nandini Reddy was the director. After this film, the actor didn’t have any success. He pinned high hopes on ‘Rangabali’, but this film was also disappointing. Even at this film’s event, all of a sudden, he walked out angrily while the function was still going on.
