The vigilance officials conducted a raid on a house in Tadepalligudem and seized 8,075 packets of prohibited cigarettes worth over Rs 4 lakh and arrested one person.
Vigilance CI Wilson told the media that on a tip off that prohibited cigarettes were hoarded in a house, they conducted a raid and found 8,075 cigarette packets which were prohibited in the country. They seized the cigarettes worth Rs 4,03,750 and arrested the cigarette trader Satish.
