Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, UP former CM Akhilesh Yadav and CPI leader D Raja launched the Kanti Velugu programme on Wednesday at the newly inaugurated Integrated District Offices complex in Khammam.
Arvind, Mann and Pinarayi praised KCR for constructing state of the art Collectorate complexes in all districts.KCR briefed the CMs about the significance of the Kanti Velugu programme. The CMs evinced interest to know more about the programme, under which people suffering from eye ailments are provided medical treatment and medicine.
Arvind Kejriwal said Delhi and Punjab governments would implement Kanti Velugu programmes. “CM KCR introduced many schemes for the welfare of the poor and it became a role model for the country”, he said. Bhagwant Singh Mann was all praise for the Kanti Velugu Programme and announced that it would be implemented in his state.
