Once a top director in the industry, Puri Jagannadh is now facing difficulties in finding an actor for his next film. According to sources, the director has approached several actors, including Nani, but has yet to secure a lead. Following the failures of Liger and Double iSmart, Puri Jagannadh is no longer in the limelight, making it challenging for him to attract big stars.
Adding to the issue, Puri has been spending most of his time in Mumbai, which has distanced him from many in the Telugu film industry. Reports suggest that he recently approached Nagarjuna with an interest in narrating a script to Akhil Akkineni, but Nagarjuna, currently busy with Kuberaa and Coolie, does not seem keen. Akhil, too, has already committed to two upcoming projects and is focused on completing them first. Other actors like Ram Pothineni, Nithiin and Sai Dharam Tej are also tied up with their respective commitments, leaving Puri still searching for a lead. With no major stars available, the industry is now curious to see who will take on the lead role in Puri Jagannadh’s next film.
