Pushpa 2 set for a long haul!

Lately, the length of a film has been a topic of discussion in film circles. While some argue that a good film will keep audiences engaged regardless of its duration, others feel that films over three hours are too long. Films like Arjun Reddy and Animal, both of which exceeded three hours in length, went on to become blockbusters. Now, the highly anticipated Pushpa 2 has also finalised its runtime. The film clocks in at three hours and 20 minutes, and its censor certification is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
“You never feel bored as every scene is iconic and interesting. Though our film is more than three hours, you feel like it is two and half hours after watching. It needs this much length and I am sure the audience will enjoy every bit from the film,” said Naveen Yerneni, one of the producers of Mythri Movie Makers production house.
Sukumar is the director and this is sequel to the earlier Pushpa. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead, while Sreeleela appears in the special song. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. When asked about Devi Sri Prasad’s comments on producers, they said it is not a big thing. “He only said that I love him, so we will work with DSP in more films in the coming days and we don’t have any differences between us,” said Ravi, one of the producers.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna electrified fans in Kochi, Kerala, with a pre-release event. The event marked a pivotal moment in the promotional journey of the sequel to the blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise.
