Quentin Tarantino scraps plans for his final film!

Must read

Fans are shocked to learn that Quentin Tarantino has allegedly decided to “scrap” his final and most ambitious project, The Movie Critic. The title character, supposedly to be played by Brad Pitt, won’t be delivering his trademark dry humour on screen. The Hollywood Reporter received information from sources that the director is taking a step back from his previously announced plan to start filming his eagerly anticipated project this year.
HR revealed on April 17 that Tarantino has been putting off his last projects for a number of months. The movie was planned to be his eleventh feature film and was set in 1977 in California. But recently, people close to him have stated that the auteur is intending to do something fresh and is not interested in revising or revitalising the movie.
When Tarantino was in his teens, he was initially motivated by a pessimistic film critic who he looked up to for his final endeavour before “scrapping it.” However, according to sources, the plan was reworked to focus on Brad Pitt’s performance as stuntman Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which earned Pitt an Academy Award. Pitt is considered “one of the last remaining big-screen movie stars,” according to Tarantino.
Earlier, during the Cannes Film Festival, the director briefly spoke about the film and said, “I can’t tell you guys anything until you see the movie. I’m tempted to do some of the character’s monologues right now, but I’m not going to. Maybe if there were fewer video cameras. You just have to wait and see.”
