Quick anti-aging tips for busy moms

Must read

Motherhood is a full-time job with no leave for those caring for their children while working at the office. Mothers also need to take care of their skin.

Our skin begins to age prematurely as we get older, resulting in wrinkles, dark patches, and fine lines. You might not have a lot of time to take care of your skin, but Dr. Anupama Bisaria, a dermatologist, provides you with some simple anti-ageing advice that can be beneficial for you:

Never forget your sunscreen:
Never forget your sunscreen, even when indoors. Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 and PA +++ in 2 fingers every 3–4 hours on the entire face, neck, and ears. UV rays are the most important cause of premature ageing, and protecting your skin is the most important anti-ageing step you can take.

Moisturiser:
Never forget your moisturiser. Dry and dehydrated skin ages faster, so always apply a good moisturiser as per your skin type twice a day. Use a good night cream, which can aid in skin restoration and healing while you sleep.

Eat colourful vegetables and fruits:
Colourful vegetables and fruits, which are rich in microminerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, make your skin glow from within. Add a handful of nuts and seeds to your bowl of fruits.

Use Retinol or Bakuchiol:

Disciplined use of retinol or bakuchiol at night not only prevents the development of fine lines and wrinkles but also, when used consistently, reverses the signs of ageing.
Medifacials:

Let your mom indulge in good medifacials like hydrafacials or laser toning facials once every month, as this is a sure-shot way to get that healthy, glowing skin.

A variety of lifestyle choices can be made in order to get better with age, such as limiting sun exposure, eating healthily, and using the right anti-ageing skincare products. The skin undergoes many changes as we age, including loss of suppleness and the development of thinner, more delicate skin. You can also develop dry skin as you get older.

If there are any overt indicators of accelerated ageing, you must see a dermatologist.
