IMDb on Wednesday announced the launch of the Popular Indian Celebrities feature, a new way for fans of Indian films and web series to track trending stars and filmmakers.The feature is available exclusively on the IMDb app for Android and iOS, and is based on visits from more than 200 million monthly visitors. Each week, in-the-know entertainment fans can see who’s trending, follow their favorite entertainers, and discover new breakout talent.
But the interesting thing is that in this list, South’s actress Rashi Khanna has overshadowed Shahrukh Khan. While Rashi Khanna stood first in the list, Vijay Sethupathi stood third, and Regina Cassandra stood fourth in the list.
This week, the Popular Indian Celebrities feature spotlights talent from trending titles like Farzi (Prime Video), The Romantics, Class (Netflix), and Pathaan (in theaters now).Six cast members from the Prime Video Original series Farzi feature in top 20 on the list. Along with Raashi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Regina, Shahid Kapoor, Bhuvan Arora, and Kubbra Sait from Farzi were also part of the list. The co-creator of the series Krishna D.K. is also on the list this week.
On the other hand, another south actor who made it to the top 20 list was RRR star Ram Charan Teja. The actor secured the fifteenth position in the list.
