Rahul eats biryani, paan, but betrays TS: Kavitha

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party leader K Kavitha criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday. Kavitha said, “Rahul Gandhi is our guest. He comes here, eats biryani, eats paan. The Gandhi family has always betrayed the people of Telangana. They just want to accuse KCR. People of Telangana are not liking it. Whatever he (Rahul Gandhi) is saying is a lie.”
Continuing her attack, the BRS leader stated that neither the former Prime Minister Late Indira Gandhi took any major decision for Telangana nor the current leaders of the party did anything. Kavitha said, “Telangana has given so much to the Congress but they haven’t done anything for the State.”
The BRS leader said that when former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi needed people of Telangana, they helped her but in return, the Gandhi family betrayed them.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, Kavitha said, “He is saying that ED has not arrested me and that is why BRS is with the BJP. But then there are ED cases against Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi and they have also not been arrested by the BJP. So, do I say Congress and BJP are also together?”
Kavitha also took a jibe at the BJP, calling Union Home Minister Amit Shah “Jumle ka Baadshah”. She stated that the saffron party makes false promises. She asked, “Tell me a single BJP-ruled State in which they have provided drinking water to every house.”
