The Vijayawada Railway Division on Sunday has set up Helpline/Helpdesk counters at all the Major Stations of Vijayawada Division to help the public regarding train services during the Michaung cyclone. The railway officials asked the Passengers to utilise these services available for the latest updates on Train information.
The railway officials stated that at Vijayawada railway junction the helpline number is 0866-2571244, at Ongole-08592-280306, Kakinada Town-0884-2374227, Tenali-08644-227600, Gudur-08624-250795 and 7815909300, Nellore-0861-2345863, Eluru-08812-232267, Bapatla-08643-222178, Bhimavaram town-08816 230098 and 7815909402, Samalkot-0884-2327010, Gudivada-08674-242454, Rajahmundry-0883-2420541 and at Tuni-0885 4252172 is the Helpline number.
The railway officials said 144 trains were cancelled and several others diverted and partially cancelled hence the public should make good use of the Helpline numbers to know about the running of trains and services.
