Must read

On the occasion of Rama Navami, the much-awaited first look of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi was released. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Ram Charan in a raw and rugged avatar, setting a powerful tone for the project. Music maestro AR Rahman is composing the soundtrack, while Venkata Satish Kilaru is producing the film, which is slated to hit theatres on March 27, 2026.
The makers dropped a video titled ‘First Shot’ which also revealed the film’s release date. The clip hints at a cricket backdrop, with Ram Charan making a striking entrance onto a cricket ground, bat slung over his shoulder. His power-packed stance and energy-filled moment leave a lasting impression.
Returning to a village backdrop reminiscent of Rangasthalam, Ram Charan embraces the Uttarandhra dialect for the first time in his career. His dialogue delivery in the Vizianagaram accent stands out, reflecting his character’s philosophy.
Director Buchi Babu’s vision brings this grounded yet dynamic character to life. R. Rathnavelu’s cinematography adds visual depth, while Rahman’s thumping score amplifies the adrenaline of the sequence.
